BIO International Convention 2024

BIO2024 is the 25th year that a Queensland delegation will attend BIO. The Queensland Government is delivering a program of events for Queensland delegates attending BIO2024 International Convention in San Diego, California this June.

BIO is the world's largest annual gathering of the biotechnology industry. It attracts 20,000 biotechnology and pharmaceutical leaders for a week of intensive networking to discover new opportunities and potential partnerships. We are participating as part of Team Australia with MTP Connect to showcase our outstanding life science innovations, innovators and unique biotechnology, pharmaceutical and manufacturing capabilities.

In the lead-up to BIO2024, we'll brief you on planned activities and events, including:

  • information and updates about Team Australia at BIO2024
  • collateral to promote Queensland expertise, capabilities and places
  • Queensland delegate mission briefing in mid-May.

At BIO2024, we are promoting Queensland’s leading capability at life sciences and working to deliver:

  • pre conference site tours in the US
  • a Queensland delegate networking event in San Diego on 1 June
  • a partnership with MTP Connect to showcase Queensland at the Australian VIP Welcome Reception on 2 June 2024 in San Diego. Invitations will be extended to one delegate per organisation.
