Disability service plan
The Disability Service Plan 2021-22 ( 295 KB) reflects our commitment to diversity and respect for individuals.
It sets out how we will create, promote and sustain opportunities and services to allow people of all abilities equal participation in the community.
Statement of ongoing commitment
The Queensland Government is in the process of developing a new State Disability Plan to align with Australia’s Disability Strategy 2021–2031, which was released in December 2021. The new plan will continue the Queensland Government’s commitment to an inclusive Queensland where people with disability can thrive.
The department will carry forward its actions from the Disability Service Plan 2021–22 and will develop a new plan once the state plan is released. This will guide our continued action to deliver targeted outcomes to improve the lives of people with disability in Queensland.
