Strategic considerations
There are a number of key frameworks, policies, strategies, plans and guidelines at both State and Commonwealth level that underpin infrastructure proposal development and delivery, and can support and inform agencies’ development of infrastructure proposals.
As each proposed investment is unique, not all of these resources will, or should, inform the development of an infrastructure proposal.
This collection of resources is not exhaustive and is current as of January 2026. This page will be updated as new strategies and plans are developed in line with government priorities.
