Bringing picnics back to Beardmore Dam in St George

Our roving reporter/advisor Damon Meadows was at Beardmore Dam in St George in August to check out Balonne Shire Council's work to bring back family picnic days.

In the past, this was the place to be on a Sunday. Now, the park area is receiving an update with funding from the Queensland Government's Works for Queensland program to help rejuvenate the area.
