Queensland Government Infrastructure Pipeline

Following the Queensland Productivity Commission (QPC) report into construction sector productivity, a review of the Queensland Government Infrastructure Pipeline (QGIP) is underway. The 2026 update will reflect the outcomes of this review, with an updated pipeline to be released mid to late 2026.

The pipeline will provide industry with visibility of the State Government’s forward infrastructure program across key asset classes, supporting greater certainty and confidence. This enables more informed workforce planning, supply chain readiness and investment decisions.

The Queensland Government Infrastructure Pipeline will be delivered as an interactive dashboard that presents infrastructure opportunities across Queensland. It will consist of two primary datasets:

• Delivery pipeline – funded infrastructure commitments expected to be delivered over the next four years.
• Planning pipeline – proposals at various stages of development and assessment, subject to ongoing government consideration and investment decisions.

The dashboard will provide accessible, user-friendly information on infrastructure projects across Queensland. It will feature the ability to search and filter by region, infrastructure class and other attributes.
