Local industry involvement in major Queensland Government projects
We're committed to helping businesses access major project procurement opportunities to benefit Queenslanders and the broader economy.
We encourage businesses to register on the Industry Capability Network (ICN Qld) Gateway to deliver the Queensland Charter for Local Content. This provides Queensland's business community with full, fair and reasonable access to government procurement.
We also support local business by:
- administering the Queensland Charter for Local Content
- facilitating local content services to promote major project opportunities
- collecting and reporting local content achievement and performance.
The Queensland Government is helping Indigenous businesses around the state to benefit from Queensland's major projects.
Commissioned by the government, ICN Qld manages the Black Business Finder. The database now lists over 750 Indigenous businesses.
Local content in major projects
