Landlocked Aviation Services

Landlocked Aviation Services has been awarded funding under the Queensland Government’s Sovereign Industry Development Fund to establish Australia’s first sovereign wide-body aircraft paint and refinishing facility at Wellcamp Airport in Toowoomba.

The project will create a new onshore capability for servicing, painting and refinishing some of the world’s largest defence and commercial aircraft, making Queensland the only location for these services in the Southern Hemisphere.

The project will strengthen aviation industry capability, create up to 100 skilled operational jobs in Toowoomba and unlock long-term economic growth and supply chain opportunities across regional Queensland.
