- AEA Ignite - Australia's Economic Accelerator grants support early-stage research commercialisation through competitive grants of up to $500,000 for a maximum period of 12 months, available for researchers at Australian universities to complete basic research, laboratory testing and establish proof-of-concept in an industry-relevant environment. - Green Metals Innovation Network will connect researchers and industry to advance the development of green metal production in Australia.
- Graphite Research and Development Grant for projects that focus on developing innovative technologies and processes essential for natural graphite production, particularly for battery applications. Closes 30 March 2026.
- CSIRO Kick-Start provides matched funding for start-ups and small to medium enterprises to support research of a new idea with commercial potential; development of a novel or improved product or process; testing for a novel product or material.
