• Transforming Queensland Manufacturing Grants Program provides matched funding grants of $100,000 to $1.5 million for projects that are: facilitating pathways for export opportunities; reshoring or onshoring manufacturing activity currently undertaken interstate or overseas; improving manufacturing productivity and competitiveness; or stimulating private sector investment and generating jobs. Applications close 16 April 2026.
• Nominations - Endeavour Awards Nominations are now open for the 2026 Endeavour Awards for individuals or organisations which have made significant contributions to the manufacturing industry. The awards celebrate excellence and innovation in Australian manufacturing, and will be presented during the national Australian Manufacturing Week to be held in Brisbane in May 2026.
• Australian Manufacturing Week in Brisbane on 12–14 May 2026 will showcase the capabilities of Australia’s precision engineering and advanced manufacturing industry, featuring the Australian Manufacturer's Pavilion, Manufacturing Solutions Zone, Robotics & Automation Zone, and Weld & Air Solutions Zone. The event provides networking and professional development opportunities and is expected to attract thousands of delegates and over 150 exhibitors.
• Lean Simulation Manufacturing Workshop highlights lean manufacturing and other related productivity improvement concepts, reinforced by the simulation of a series of manual processes (typically representing production or office processes) by using hands on and learning-by-doing principles. Workshop in Mackay 9 Jun 2026.
• Integrated Manufacturing Systems Masterclass provides a comprehensive overview of Integrating business systems to streamlines operations and enhances data accuracy. Workshops in Mackay 17 March 2026 and Townsville on 18 March 2026.
• Manufacturing Sustainability Benchmark Program helps manufacturers understand their sustainability progress with an online benchmark assessment. The report provides detailed results and recommended actions for improvement.
• Certain Inputs to Manufacture reduce importing costs for Australian manufacturers of eligible goods.
