Program overview

The Community Hubs and Partnerships (CHaPs) program delivers community outcomes by championing systemic approaches to planning, investing in and delivering place-specific social infrastructure. Key elements of the program include:

  • social infrastructure planning and strategy development
  • coordinated cross-government and sector exemplar social infrastructure initiatives
  • best practice resources and advice to support cross-agency and sector social infrastructure planning and delivery.

CHaPs partners with all levels of government, non-government organisations and the private sector to facilitate cost effective social infrastructure and improved community resilience.

The result is well-considered, cost-effective infrastructure that connects communities and supports coordinated delivery of community services for the benefit of all Queenslanders.

Program vision

Connected people, services and liveable communities across Queensland.
