This project will construct a new replacement rising main to deliver drinking water from all bores to the town reservoir. The existing rising main is at the end of its service life and also does not connect the new town bore no. 9 to the town’s water supply. Boulia township currently sources its water from underground aquifers via five bores situated around the periphery of the town. This project aligns with the shire’s 20-year water program and these important upgrades will ensure the water supply remains safe and reliable.
