Albert Street Cross River Rail

Key details

The Albert Street Cross River Rail (CRR) Priority Development Area (PDA) was declared on 14 December 2018.

The PDA was declared at the request of the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA) to assist with the delivery of the CRR project at Albert Street.

The Albert Street CRR PDA covers approximately 3,858m2 with two core land areas separated by the Albert Street road reserve.

Development scheme

The Albert Street Cross River Rail PDA Development Scheme (PDF icon 6.6 MB) is the regulatory document which assists with planning, carrying out, promoting, coordinating and controlling land development within a PDA.

The Albert Street CRR PDA development scheme came into effect on 13 December 2019.

The proposed development scheme for the Albert Street CRR PDA was prepared by CRRDA and publicly notified from 10 September to 23 October 2019 (the submissions period).

Submissions were considered and a Submissions Report was prepared to summarise the submissions, provide information about the merits of submissions and the extent to which amendments have been made to reflect submissions, and detail changes made in finalising the Development Scheme.

Development assessment

Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) assesses development applications for this PDA.

All development applications are assessed against the Albert Street Cross River Rail Development Scheme.
