Cross River Rail PDAs
Cross River Rail Priority Development Areas (CRR PDAs) are parcels of land within Queensland, located around new Cross River Rail stations that have been identified for transit-oriented development that will deliver significant community benefits. The four CRR PDAs are:
- Albert Street Cross River Rail PDA
- Boggo Road Cross River Rail PDA
- Roma Street Cross River Rail PDA
- Woolloongabba Cross River Rail PDA.
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority prepared a Precincts Delivery Strategy ( 13.5 MB) to inform it’s planning for the PDAs.
Delegations
On 4 November 2022, Economic Development Queensland (EDQ) became responsible for development scheme preparation and development assessment within the CRR PDAs. Prior to this date, these responsibilities rested with the CRRDA.
Cross River Rail Project
Cross River Rail is a 10.2 kilometre rail line from Dutton Park to Bowen Hills, which includes 5.9 kilometres of twin tunnels under the Brisbane River and CBD. The project will unlock a bottleneck at the core of the transport network and it will transform the way we travel across the whole of South East Queensland.
Visit the CRRDA’s website for more information about the Cross River Rail project.
