The Regional Economic Development Group is the Queensland Government's first point of contact for people looking to invest in Queensland, or grow a business, industry or regional economy.

We deliver a range of workshops and programs that are focused on economic growth and regional development. In addition, the Regional Economic Development Group also delivers a number of programs on behalf of other government departments.

These programs include:

  • Tendering for government business (T4GB)

The T4GB workshop is the state's premier program for educating industry on the Queensland Government procurement process. This workshop helps suppliers maximise their chances of winning government work.
  • Capability statement workshops

Learn what a business capability statement is and why it is important to have one, how to access the latest information on Queensland's major projects, improve your understanding of the major projects supply chain and develop your draft business capability statement.
  • Accessing supply chain opportunities (ASCO)

The ASCO program will increase the ability of Queensland businesses to tender successfully for work on major projects, as you learn how to understand the major project environment, develop a business capability statement, adopt a management system and manage contracts.
