Regional Major Projects Series
The Regional Major Projects Series provides industry and business with up-to-date information about major project investment in the pipeline and projects happening on the ground throughout regional Queensland.
Topics covered include industry outlooks, information about how to access new markets and win business through tendering and supply opportunities associated with government and non-government projects.
This suite of events is organised and hosted by the Department of State Development's regional network or, may also be held in partnership with regional economic development partners such as industry groups and local government.
Whether full-day, breakfast or evening events, the format of each is uniquely planned to focus on relevant issues and challenges in each region.
Attendees are also given the chance to meet major project proponents, local council representatives and network with those from other regional enterprises.
In 2016, the Major Project Series will tour Queensland highlighting Queen's Wharf Brisbane and the supply chain opportunities it may provide to regional businesses looking to access new markets and tender for the provision of goods and services.
