- Category: Water/Sewerage/Waste Infrastructure
- Round: 2
Proposed development of new housing and the opening of the Three Rivers Community Centre will now be possible with a much-needed sewer upgrade that increases capacity of the system.
The project will install two new sewer connections. Works include a gravity sewer connection for McKenzie Camp (to the east of Tal Tal Street) to the existing sewer pump station and a standard reticulated sewer from Fred Kerindun Drive/John Koowarta Drive to the existing sewer pump station.
The project will provide essential environmental health infrastructure and support growth opportunities in Aurukun including the provision of more housing.
